Halitosis Remedy: Natural cure
Halitosis is an embarrassing bad breath disorder. Many things including decaying teeth, gum disease, and certain medications can cause it or health related issues. The most common factor is gum disease. Decaying teeth at the roots can result in abscesses within the gums creating a foul smelling odor. Tooth decay includes small cracks or holes in the teeth that left untreated. Germs and bacteria accumulate in the areas releases the bad breath. Medical conditions in the nose, throat, stomach, and respiratory tract are associated with the chronic infections that upset the natural functions of body leading to foul breath.
There are remedies to help reduce the halitosis in most cases. One of the commonly used remedies is the use of fenugreek that is a tea made from vegetable seeds to correct the mouth condition. Place one teaspoon of the seeds in 8 ounces of water and allow the mixture to simmer over a low flame. Strain the tea and drink.
The avocado is another remedy for halitosis. It removes the intestinal contents that lead to the foul odors. It is a natural solution that tastes great and is very healthy. Unripe guava is rich in oxalic, tannic, malic, calcium, and phospheoric acids that naturally combat the bad breath. Chew the guava to release the natural agents in the body as well as stopping bleeding of the gums that is a sign of gum disease.
Parsley can also be used to cure for halitosis. Take two cups of water with several chopped parsley. Allow the parsley to boil in the water along with two whole cloves. Allow the mixture to cool. Stain after cooled and gargle with the liquid. Fresh fruits and vegetables help to treat bad breath. The greener the vegetables the better since they contain natural fighting agents for the foul breath.
Make sure to brush the teeth, gums, and tongue at least twice a day. Food becomes lodged in between the teeth, and bacteria build up creating the bad breath. Do not use toothpicks to remove the food particles, instead floss gently between the teeth, and avoid causing the gums to bleed.
A balanced diet consisting of nuts, fruits, and vegetables, grains, and seeds help to reduce the odors. Eat steamed vegetables or eat them raw for the benefits of nature. Avoid refined sugary foods with high levels of carbohydrates and spicy foods.
